The position will be responsible for critical functions surrounding data collection, database and reporting for IISTL.

Duties include:

  • Participating in the database evaluation team to select a statewide database
  • Creation of data collection processes that satisfy reporting requirements
  • Assure quality by means of developing error checks and internal quality controls to verify the validity of data; monitoring quality of entered data;
  • Assist in migrating existing data between existing systems and new database system
  • Data entry, upload of reports
  • Advise and assist in training agency staff on the use of the new system
  • Assist in evaluating missing data
  • Timely and accurate submission of Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and Missouri Office of Refugee Administration (MO-ORA) required reports
  • Troubleshooting problems associated with data input, collection and reporting
  • Coordinating and collaborating with MO-ORA staff on data and reporting issues
  • Participation in the creation of a user & admin manuals for the selected statewide database
  • Prioritize data support for ORR funded programs
  • Coordinate data sharing with United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) for health/medical information
  • Create and edit Penelope documents
  • Performing other related duties and activities as appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; experience working with refugee populations or programs preferred; well organized and able to meet deadlines; attention to detail; some regional travel required
