IISTL seeks billing and account management specialist to join our IIBSC team. The specialist will ensure accurate and timely billing of interpreter engagements and invoicing of interpretation clients. The specialist will coordinate with accounting department to ensure accurate and timely report reconciliation. The specialist will also collaborate with IIBSC staff to coordinate interpretation and translation scheduling. S/he will represent IIBSC in a customer-focused fashion, respond to IIBSC customer service needs and seek out potential new clients.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Perform as an active member of the International Institute Business Solutions (IIBSC) team. 
  • Provide consistently professional and efficient customer service.
  • Develop and cultivate professional relationships with client organizations by learning about the work of each organization and developing sound relationships with key contacts
  • Represent IIBSC in a customer-focused fashion by returning calls and e-mails promptly, searching for answers and additional resources when necessary, taking initiative to solve problems, or requesting necessary assistance.  

Billing Responsibilities:

  • Manage account balances to discover outstanding debts or other inconsistencies
  • Collect all information needed to calculate bills receivable (order amounts, discount rates etc.)
  • Check the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy of final bill
  • Issue invoices and bills to all customers
  • Issue customer account statements periodically or whenever necessary
  • Receive payments through various methods (cash, online payments etc.) and check for credibility
  • Send reminders for payments and contact customers when assigned
  • Update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.
  • Answer questions and handle complaints from customers regarding bills
  • Report on activity to upper management

Experience: 1-5 years related experience

Education: High-school diploma or equivalent
