Program Coordinator

The International Institute of St. Louis is seeking a full time team member to coordinate Elderly Services, Behavioral Health, and Case Management programming in the Social Work Department. This position will serve a critical quality assurance and evaluation function within the team and reports to the Director of Social Work. This position is currently funded through 9/29/22.


  • Provide program referral support for Behavioral Health and Elderly Services
  • Schedule, organize, and facilitate team meetings in conjunction with Social Work Director
    • Record and follow up on action items
  • Data management
  • Case file reviews to ensure compliance with funder and certifying body requirements
  • Assist with Language Use form Management
  • Assist in development of evaluation mechanisms and tools for multiple SW programs
  • Assist in evaluating Behavioral Health and Elderly Services program outcomes
  • Provide grant support for narrative and data reporting
  • Contribute to program sustainability initiatives through supporting grants applications


Education and Experience:  Masters degree in Social Work or related social service field OR Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related social service field with 3+ years experience.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Ability to interpret and adhere to established policies and procedures;
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered frameworks;
  • Knowledge of the field of refugee services, gerontology, and/or behavioral health services;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications;
  • Internet research and a high comfort level in working with computer systems;
  • Must have knowledge of and the ability to adhere to confidentiality standards;
  • Must be able to focus on details and ensure accuracy in reporting and giving information;
  • Must be cordial in working under pressure and/or meeting deadlines;
  • Ability to follow tasks through to completion;
  • Must be able to work well both independently as well as part of a team;
  • Must have a valid driver's license
