Process Development and Training Coordinator

The International Institute of St. Louis is seeking a part-time Process Development and Training Coordinator. This position will assist in the further development of agency policies, processes and procedures, refine employee handbook and coordinate and conduct regular training for staff. Must have strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Must have strong professional integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Position requires the ability to use good judgment, think critically, and communicate effectively. Must be mission driven. Part-time, flexible schedule on-site. Can do some work from home, if preferred. Job functions include:

  • Implement training program for staff covering Personnel related topics
  • Conduct regular training for staff, including on-boarding and other topics
  • Review and revise current Policy and Procedures Manual/Employee Handbook
  • Prepare responses to staff feedback and suggestions
  • Further develop Policies and Procedures as appropriate
  • Interact with supervisors from a variety of departments
  • Close interactions with Finance Department
  • Assist supervisors with job descriptions and hiring software
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Policies and Procedures Development
  • Experience providing training to groups on Personnel topics
  • Project Management
  • Non-profit experience helpful
  • Some knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200 helpful
  • BA/BS in HR related field required
