Workforce Solutions MG Program Support Specialist 

The Workforce Solutions Matching Grant Program Support Specialist provides support and assistance to the Matching Grant Manager in data, program compliance, documentation and other aspects of the Matching Grant Program. This is a full-time position in the Workforce Solutions Department, and reports to the Matching Grant Program Manager.


  • Conduct Matching Grant program intake and orientations with potential participants with Program Manager
  • Prepare paperwork and enrollment documentation in database for new participants and create required hard copies
  • Support Program Manager with securing housing documentation and information to prepare rent support and other program requirements
  • Complete check requests from the Accounting Department and ensure careful fiscal data entry
  • Create required hard copy files for each program participant and ensure necessary documentation is prepared and completed for each participant
  • Ensure necessary program reporting including job retention follow-ups, budgets, and other program components are completed in a timely manner, and assist when needed
  • Support MG staff with client needs and case management services
  • Schedule regular check-in appts with MG clients and MG Program Manager
  • Support off-boarding process at end of program closure for program participants
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client records and information.
  • Provide detailed daily case notes and documentation in client databases and regular communication with MG Program Manager
  • Other duties and tasks, as assigned within the WFS Team
  • Engage in other IISTL activities and events, as needed


  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree and relevant work experiences (clerical/office) 
  • High digital/computer proficiency, including using web-based client database programs and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Well organized and detail orientated
  • Experience working with data and compliance
  • Work experience in a culturally diverse and fast-paced environment is preferred
  • Flexibility and able to maintain composure and professionalism in times of stress, multitask

Preferred: Linguistic ability in one of the following languages:  Arabic, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, French, Dari, Pashto, or Somali
